This car is a retractable hard top - the steel top goes into the extended trunk area. It was restored from the frame up about 8 years ago and is much nicer than it was when new. It is stock - with the exception of a 390 out of a mustang instead of the original 352.  |

That is neat - but looks like a ruined 2 door sedan to me.
My Dad is pretty specific with his cars. He likes the 57-59 skyliners, and the 57 TBirds. Right now he has 13 cars ... Including the T-Bird that I am refreshing for him.

Including the T-Bird that I am refreshing for him. Look close at the 1st pix, it was a 4 door hardtop. BTW I like the Kelsy-Hays (maybe SIC) wheels on your Dads car. |

T we need that for the Club bbq Can't get it.....but Doc has a friend that's good at building something like that....now I wonder if we can find a Ford truck to use instead........  |

Those are the wheels/tires off the '57 TBird. He has them on the skyliner while I am tearing the TBird apart. |

They are SWEET ;D BTW One of the guys that met at the 1431 site has 2 retractables I believe. A 57' and a 58'. Gary has 14 cars at the moment so it's kinda hard to keep up with what he has. But my semi favorite is his 64' 427 4sp Galaxy 500. Semi because it's a convertible.
