Any body know of a great lawyer in Williamson county.
I got busted for doing a dounut in front of my shop in Round rock and had to spend the nite in jail for doing a dounut.
The charge is reckless driving

Did they take your car? That happened to me when I was 16. But it was reduced to a "careless driving" charge instead. Much less of a penalty. I'm sorry the cop was a douche too.

No they did not take the car i hauled ass back into my parking lot and surrendered the car to the girl that works at my shop.The charge i am faceing is reckless driving

It cost me 45 dollars to get released but i have to be in court on the 20th this month.I did not get a ticket.

What's up with that side of Wilco, the Cedar Park/Leander side cops are cool, but the P-ville round rock/g-town cops are doucebages.

Sorry to hear about your legal problems Herb. I recently got a speeding ticket in my Camaro from Barney One Bullet outside of Georgetown………while getting passed by a white Mazda. With the financial strain most government budgets are under these days, I think we can expect tighter enforcement of traffic laws so that our local political heros can shore up their balance sheets. Unfortunately, anyone driving a classic car is probably assumed to have deep pockets, so we’re convenient targets.
If you manage to get the charge reduced to careless driving, I'd accept it in a heartbeat.

just a note... Pville is in Travis county. we may not be in Wilco, but we have plenty of cops around; city, travis county sheriffs and DPS. mostly the Pville city cops have been cool, but then again I'm a homeowner here and they recognize me. they all know my car and wave... heh heh heh... WHOMPAWHOMPA..SKREEEEEEeeee....  I'll ask about a good Wilco lawyer among my friends. |

Its taken a while but the lawyer has struck a deal. She got the ticket reduced to a class c and i will have to do some community service I go to court on aug 15th to see what service i have to do. and what fine if any i have to pay.

At last me and the court are done the ticket was reduced from a class b wreckless driving charge to a class c speeding ticket i had to serve 30 hours community service and write a letter of appology the the judge and the officer and then pay a 100 dollar fine and a 221 dollar court fee not to mention the 500 laywer fees. That was the most expencive doughnut i ever ate.
