The nights are getting warmer and I'm getting the itch to hit the drive-in's again... I try to go to The Galaxy Drive-In whenever I'm up near Dallas visiting the in-laws. It's such fun, a huge place, and the movies play through a radio station so you get really good sound too. The last few times we took my Roady wagon, which was really fun for tailgating. I made a bed up in the back for the kids and brought folding chairs for the adults, backed the car in and dropped the tail gate. Good times. I want to go up there in the Cutlass soon. T-tops off at the Drive-In would be fun! www.galaxydriveintheatre.com/The Crossroads Drive-In in Shiner is not too far from me either, but I've yet to make it down there. It's on the to-do list. www.crossroadsdrivein.com/Sadly the drive-in theater just south of downtown San Antonio finally closed last year. It was not in the best part of town, and was in sorry shape, but still hated to see it go. Gotta love springtime! -Mike

I went to this drive in a few years ago. It was the first time I had been to one since I was little. Its really fun. I was thinking we could plan a group activity even if it wasn't really so much of a cruise. We could just take vehicles that everyone can fit in. Although it would be fun to take the old cars too. www.drive-ins.com/theater/txtlastLast Drive-In Picture Show 2912 S. Hwy. 36 Bypass Gatesville, TX 76528
