I worked in Australia a couple of years ago and saw/heard a few of them. They have a model with the corvette drivetrain - sounds incredible.

I'd still take a 2005-2006 Holden Monaro (aka Pontiac GTO). Looks like a Cavalier and runs like a Corvette. ; )

I like the idea of them bring it back, but don't like the style of it, the same as I don't like the style of any of the new cars. The Aussies still have the Falcon Ranchero. They call it a Falcon Ute. www.netcarshow.com/ford/2008-fg_falcon_ute_xr6_turbo/Since you mentioned the new GTO, I have to say that I don't care for it at all. It just looks like a Grand Am GT or something. I'm with Jason. I'd much rather have your Cutlass.

Thanks guys, I really love my Cutlass a lot. I still like the styling inside and out, GM got that right, and it's a great cruising car. Too bad the 307 is so gutless, Smartcars can dust me from a stoplight. Ha! I'll put a real engine in it someday.
My buddy Ben has an '06 GTO, and I didn't like them that much either....until I drove his. 400hp and a 6-spd, big leather seats, and a high roof with big windows so good visability and lots of room inside. They are a neat package and are really fast cars. And they are not looked at by the police either....Cavalier styling.
Gotta love sleepers. Ha!
