Good evening all,
Would any of you be able to put me in touch with a vintage muscle car owner that is willing to feature their vehicle in a short film? I'm with the graduate film program at the University of Texas, and we're piecing together a short narrative for festival distribution. The theme is a contemporary western, and we've been looking for a vintage vehicle to feature as the protagonist's modern "horse" of sorts. We are shooting this weekend, the 25th - 27th, and I am curious if they would showcase it in a short scene in Austin. Our crew is talented, professional, fast and we are willing to work around their schedule on any one of those dates. If they prefer, we will also shoot the scene with only the owner driving the vehicle and offer them full "picture car" credit in the film.
Let me know your thoughts. I appreciate any help you can provide.
