I saw that video a while back before I re-geared the Trans Am when I was in research mode. While I was pricing getting the T/A re-geared (yikes!) my machinist neighbor offered to help me tackle the job myself. It turned out not to be too terribly difficult. It been over year now. So far, so good...knock on wood.
