I love Speedway

ok, so Speedway motors is my favorite online place to order parts and other car junk. But they dont have everything.. understandable. 

I ordered some parts for the 39 from chevsofthe40s.com Thursday 3:30PM (2/19/15) and got charged 15 bucks for standard UPS shipping. No big deal right? 

about an hour later I ordered 2 sail panel chicken decals for the Trans Am from Pheonixgraphics.com (2/19/15) man they are proud of those things.. 65 bucks for the pair! and got charged 15 bucks standard shipping.. with an option to pay ANOTHER 3 bucks to expedite the handling process.. ok what ever.. just send me the shit I ordered.


Monday about 7:30PM (2/23/15) I ordered some other crap from www.Speedwaymotors.com, got charged 7.50 for standard UPS shipping.. roughly the same weight as the Chevsofthe40s order but Speedway is located closer to me.. ok fine.. 

ALL of them sent me emails about weather delays on Tuesday.. ok what ever.. tracking numbers ALL show the parts are all sitting in Austin Tuesday evening..

Still have not seen the Chevsofthe40s order, still sitting on a UPS truck somewhere

Still have not seen Pheonixgraphics order, still sitting on a FEDEX truck somewhere

Speedway parts delivered today 3:47pm and ready to install..

Summit is pretty good too. I'm surprised how fast they get stuff to me. The last thing I ordered from them was a windshield washer pump for the T/A. I ordered it on a Monday, got it that Thursday. Turns out that one was defective. They didn't want it back & sent me a replacement that shipped out Thursday & was delivered that Saturday. This was all standard FedEx, no rush or special delivery.

ok so FEDEX just showed up with Phoenixgraphics shit.. still took them 2 days longer than Speedway and charged me 15 bucks for an envelope with 2 little stickers in it

oh and HOLY SHIT the tail lights from speedway on the 39 are brite!! I apologize to everyone ahead of time for any epileptic seizures these face melting mofos might cause

just hate the look of LEDs, but love the visibility

Well to be fair look at where the shipping address is from and see what warehouse that shipped from. Speedway is in Nebraska, Phoenix is in New York and chevs of the 40s is in Washington so naturally speedway stuff would get here sooner being it has less miles to travel. They may not have multiple warehouses like summit and jegs and the other big ones. I've ordered stuff from summit before and it's shipped out of San Antonio and them rat bastards still charged me full price for shipping. I've been in the transportation businesses long enough to know that people get their titties twisted up real hard when their stuff doesn't get there when they think it should but if they figure out where it's coming from right off the bat it saves some frustration.

That's because speedway is so close. I'm surprised they didn't just make a paper airplane, tuck your package safely inside and throw it at your house. That's how close they are.

stop defending the yankees.. Speedways shit was boxed and shipped with in minutes of my order.. the other turds let the order sit there for days before shipping it out.. they all got to Austin the same day! Today I got the Chevs40 order
