autos.yahoo.com/photos/blood-money-auction-to-sell-rare-vintage-muscle-cars-seized-by-us-marshals-slideshow/David Nicoll's collection of vintage muscle cars is impressive, but the means in which he acquired them is not. Nicoll served as president of New Jersey's Biodiagnostic Laboratory Services (BLS) and faces up to 22 years in prison for pleading guilty to charges of bribery. For seven years, Nicoll paid physicians to send their patients to him for unnecessary blood tests, and then charged insurers for the cost. The FBI says Nicoll received $33 million from the scheme, with a total of $100 million in revenue going to the BLS. Not only did Nicoll spend over $5 million of that money on fancy cars, he also paid for a $700,000 apartment for his girlfriend, spent almost as much on high-priced sporting tickets, and spent $154,000 on strippers. U.S. Marshals seized the collection of vintage muscle cars and are selling them at the AJ Willner Auction in Lodi, N.J., on Sept. 12 to help pay back those he defrauded. Take a look at the staggering list of cars:
