Most of you will not know who Dollie Cole is although I think it was T-Man that mentioned her on here once.
She was married to the late Ed Cole when he was head of Chevrolet and later President of General Motors. Any one with Corvairs, Corvettes, or a knowledge of GM in the 50s and 60s will know who Ed Cole is.
After Ed's passing in 1977, Dollie moved to Texas and had a ranch north of Lockhart. I met Dollie in 1994 and from that meeting she got more involved with the Corvair clubs both locally and nationally.
I believe she was also involved with at least one local Corvette club. I know the times I got to spend around her I found she was a very interesting, wonderful, and gracious lady. She will be missed by many.
