It may have some nice handling and performance improvements, but the looks are terrible.

I like the car so far. I may be in line for one next year after the new model hype dies down. I have never been a fan of the retro styling and this is good move away from that phase.

I can't wait to call my mother-in-law in Dallas and tell her Ford is making a coupe version of her POS Fusion sedan!

It looks nothing like a Fusion. The tailight treatment isn't the best but the front and side looks good to me. It might just be the performance bargain of the (next) year and it's American. Isn't that a good thing? Plus it will make Chevy upgrade the Camaro. Competition is good!

I personally like it - with the exception of the mustang on the grille. I would trash that part first day.
I am considering buying one myself.

I do kinda like the 70's Pontiac Trans Am front fender vents that Ford has molded into the new cars hood.....

Well, I guess it wouldn't be the ugliest car on the road or anything like that. It just looks like a foreign car now. The Nissan Z car resemblance too much. I don't think it works at all for a Mustang. Just my opinion.

It would be neat to see the SVO name again.

If a Subaru BRZ, an Aston Martin, a Ford Fusion and a Mustang GT all had an affair this is their Love Child. Seriously, Ford is doing what it has to, to stay competitive in a very crowded market place. The retro look was a home run for Ford and the reason most Mustangs were bought. People complained about it not having IRS, some Cobra models did and it really didn't change handling much in daily driving. To me and 95% of the other buyers, it makes no difference, IRS or not. Now it becomes a car that will easily be lost in a parking lot in a year or so because it'll look like everything else parked next to it. But until then, this will be the flavor of the month. Soon the new Camaro and Cuda' among others will hit the market, and then they'll become the flavors of the month. We've got till next Fall or so before the car comes out. BTW, I plan on a Shelby as my retirement car...
