'69 big car did indeed get a 2bbl on a 396. Only year only model, big block so equipped. I had a 2 bbl manifold once, it was a weird piece.

Damn they should have put tread on the sidewall. LOL...
That just seems very weird to even think of offering a 2bbl on a big block.

Wow...they hated it didn't they??? It's funny they could get the small carb on those. If I remember correctly, you could also get a 2brl on the 454's in the 70's.

I would have never believed that any big block (excluding the SMALL block 400)from Chevy ever came with a 2bbl. I know Olds did the 2bbl thing on the 400 in a few 442s, but a 2bbl 396?
