It looks ok, but the SS pictured with it looks sleeker and meaner.
I wonder how well it performs. Most police officers I have talked to still preferred the interceptor Crown Vic even to the Dodge.

I had heard that GM was working on a new RWD 6sp Impala SS replacement back in 06'. Thought I would wait and get one to replace my 96' SS. Then GM got into their financial troubles and that idea went away, and so did I....if this is what I was waiting on...I'm glad I didn't. Has the performance, maybe, but the looks fall way short of the 96'.

It's a Pontiac G8 in Chevy dress. I want a G8 GXP SO bad when they came out....a 4dr GTO. Hope GM actually markets these... I like sleepers!

It has a longer wheelbase than the G8, more room in the back seat for perps. Based on the Holden Commodore I think it is shipped to the Middle-East as a Caprice and China as a Buick Park Avenue. It is a shame that Pontiac and the G8 went away. Pontiac was going to bring out an "El Camino" version and maybe a wagon based on the G8.
