Repaired the a/c in my car last week - and man, I love the cold a/c in the Texas heat. To cool down the car I installed a heater shut-off valve, insulated the floor, and got the a/c cooling like it should. The heater shut-off and the insulation dropped the interior temp to an acceptable level, and now the car is drivable year round here. Now looking for the next project .... maybe fuel injection ? Snapshot is from this am - coming home from the gym. A/C was blowing ice and the humidity had the case covered in condensation. The drain is working - but the case itself gets wet when the top is down. I guess I am going to have to put a towel under the case on humid days.

The case does the same thing on mine. It also does it for a few minutes after sitting with the windows down after being used.

Oh, I vote no for EFI. It looks soon much nicer with a Carb when you pop the hood. If its running good there isn't much to be gained anyway.

I think the next project should be a vacuum controlled AOD.

When I worked for A/C Auhority we used to service Mustangs now and then and all the cases "sweated" like that. It means it's working well!
Good deal on getting it going!
