This what I was driving when I met wife #2. This one is exactly like mine. Had pwr windows, seats, factory 8 track and tilt wheel. It was a factory freak because it was special ordered with a 350cid instead of the 400. Traded for a 65' Caprice

I love the first generation Firebird.
I have no idea why it was special ordered that way.

Still putting it back together. Been apart for a partial rebuild for the last two years. Down to the bare frame from the firewall forward. Just got the Vintage Air for it and hopefully will install it soon. Lot's of work to do yet, but determined to get her back on the road soon.

Just got the Vintage Air for it and hopefully will install it soon. Lot's of work to do yet, but determined to get her back on the road soon. Looking forward to seeing the finished product. Here are some of my past GM products. My 1st car was just like this. 70 Monte Carlo SS 454, triple black & loaded. Actual pic of my 2nd car (way before the digital pic age) 79 Trans Am w/403 cu in. Black w/silver graphics. This is the 63 Cadillac Coupe DeVille that I still own. My grandfather gave it to me 27 years ago. This is my grandparents hopping in it heading to their 50th wedding anniversary back in 1975.

The TA and the Caddy are my favorites, although it's hard not to like a Monte Carlo with a 454. Very cool!

Kurt, the Caddy is very cool. Enjoyed checking it out last night. By the way, what is that sitting on the trunk in the pic? Looks like they're getting ready to drive off with it.

Good to meet you too. Awesome Vega, the power plant is much better than what they came with. Now hurry up & finish the goat. In my pic that is actually a hanging basket planter in the tree in the foreground. My grandparents had plants everywhere. I ate a lot of home grown food there too.

More of my GMs...... Same color and mine had a black 3/4 vinyl top. Got one like this when I rolled the 66' Chevelle SS. It had a black vinyl top too, same color. Wasn't a real SS but I put all the emblems and wheels to look like one. 307 powered. Don't remember what happened to it.

OK...so this is no GM, but they were imported by GM and sold at Buick dealers. It was hard finding a pic, but I found one same color as mine. 1969 Opel Kadette wagon
