When I started working at Dell in 2000, the security guards drove little white 4cyl Ford Ranger pickups. They got new ones every few years. In 2008, the Rangers got traded for a batch of little white Toyota Prius (Prius's? Pri-ii?). I don't think they were thrilled with them, but they've been humming around the parking lots since then. In the past year we've gotten deep into rugged notebooks, for both business and government use. We also joined with a company that makes mounts for our notebooks for police/service vehicles. Since we're having law enforcement customers visiting the campus a lot more now, it was decided we need to represent our products a little bit better... The first of the new batch of security vehicles was delivered yesterday afternoon... And I...my friends....have seen security guards literally jumping for joy now. -Mike

Now...if Dell could only create a cool, game changing product to compete with Apple...I know, I know, wrong forum...just saying...

Perhaps Dell would allow them to enter local car shows. They could all vote for each other and dominate the show ....
