To my untrained eye, those taillights look like 1st gen Camaro RS brakelights ('67 & '68).

Check out these tail lights I had on my 69 Mustang Mach 1. Did Shelby ever have these on any of his Mustangs?  |

I thought those might be Camaro lights, but something looked a little different to me. Albani, Thats pretty cool on the 69. Shelby Mustangs from 67-68 had lights like those. So did California Special and High Country Special in 68. I think you had 68 lights. 67 Shelby  68 Shelby  68 California Special  |

That Mustang project kit is kinda cool. Greg has it on his blacked out 68 coupe. I'm not sure I like the look of it on 65-66 though.

The Cougars sure did have lights similar to that too. They were sequential too.

My buddy in H.S. had a cougar and it has always been one of those rigs that I always loved. Another buddy of mine in H.S. had a Pacer and it was NOT one of my favorites. We would ride in it just for the looks.
