You'll have to pull off a couple of plug wires on the LT1 b/f Exxon will recognize all three... J/K - nice rides! Usually when I see a vintage car from New Jersey it's brown b/c of the rust, not the paint. How'd this one survive? Nice ride!

You'll have to pull off a couple of plug wires on the LT1 b/f Exxon will recognize all three... J/K - nice rides! Usually when I see a vintage car from New Jersey it's brown b/c of the rust, not the paint. How'd this one survive? Nice ride! That's a good story. I found that car in California, LA, but it came from Barstow. Got it back in 2003, when it had 38K miles on it. Drove it back to Texas via Las Vegas. My good buddy Ben in New Jersey wanted it. I did some minor work on it, and it went to New Jersey in 2004. In 2005 Ben called me to tell me he was moving and no longer would have a garage for the Buick. He was going to sell it unless I wanted it back, as he didn't want it to be outside in New Jersey. I flew to NJ and brought it back to Texas, and have had it every since. We never exchanged money and he still has the title. He sends me the new registration every year. I use the car for car shows and to take up in the hills on weekends. It only has 50K miles on it now. Ben comes down every spring to ride motorcycles in the Hill Country with me, and drives the Buick when he's here. Other than that, it's my toy. I love the old beast. Funny how things work out! -Mike ps, I think the plates add to the mobster feel too. When I drive it to work my friends ask me if there are any bodies in the trunk. Hahahaha!
