We all love our traditional gas/combustion engines and we all have a pretty good idea of how they work. I always wondered about how the rotary engines worked and after watching this, I am absolutely dumbfounded as to how anyone thought of this. Truly amazing. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BCgl2uumlI

My friend has a 1980 RX7. Those rotary engines sound weird.

That little yellow car would be a kick to drive around town, racing anything in site. And yes I agree they do sound weird, almost snomobile-ish. But what an insanely cool invention. Can someone remind me what all the press was over the rotary engine? I remember there being something about Revs and longevity but I can't remember much at all anymore.
