Ha ha, no joke! I love the fact that he built that ramp! 80 stories tall! And then jumped off of it at over 200 miles an hour in a Continental! Love this guy!!
Where else would you see these factors together?:
1. Lincoln Continental
2. 80 storey ramp
3. a Jet engine
4. Landing 1 mile away
And what is with those little wings? Hilarious!
When did he think it was a bad idea? When he pushed the red button and his eyes went into the back of his skull? Man this thing is fast aye.

Yeah, those stubby wings weren't going to do anything. I'm kinda surprised he didn't loose control of it before it left the ramp. The thing I was wondering most, is why did they make the ramp so steep. I thought it might lift the front of the car and flip it over backwards.

There's no way he ever expected to land it. I mean a landing ramp 1 mile away? We've seen Pastrana jump his rally car a few extra feet over the landing ramp and destroy it. It just didn't seem like the old continental was set up for a 200+ mile an hour landing! holy craaaaaap! I think the whole thing went exactly as planned. Ha ha, " did I make it?" hilarious.
You are right, that ramp was made strictly for dramatic view and that's it.
still a fun video though
