I wasnt looking - but came across this deal a couple weeks back. Its a 1932 ford roadster, steel car. Drive train is an SBC, coupled to a 40 for transmission. It has a column shift 3 speed manual - along with the 40 column, drop etc. brakes are finned buick, suspension is a dropped original axle supported by 36 split wishbones. This is the car I always wanted - so its the "one" and here to stay -

Luvin' it BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!! 99 1/2 out of 100 (have to deduct for the Mouse Motor) Seriously, truly a BITCHIN' RIDE!!!!!! I hear you - but cant beat a SBC for power and reliability. A friend of my Dad is a retired master Ford mechanic and a flathead guru. I'm having him build me a flathead for future use. He's 92 - not many of those guys left.

A built flathead will be so sweet. Built, mildly built or stock. Saw somewhere where they're getting 325 + out of them. What would Ol' Henry Ford say about that? Got a Great Uncle who bought a flathead powered 50' Mercury brand new. Drove it for over 45 years before selling it. He was also seen cruising in a 60' Impala with a 348 for years.
