REUNION

Greetings everyone.  I'm Bob and I'm brand new to this forum.  I must tell you....I joined because I wanted to be able to communicate with you.  I no longer own a classic car, although I did have a '59 MGA Coupe for a few years until I could no longer bend over and curl up enough to get in an out of it.  Anyway, I'm here to make and announcement and make a request.  Lanier High School Class of '64  is holding its 50 year reunion on June 21st from 6:00 to 10:00 pm at Top Notch in Austin.  It's my understanding that a couple of clubs meet there the second Saturday of each month.  I am wondering if anyone would be interested in showing their car the following Saturday at our reunion.  We are trying to recreate some nostalgia for those in attendance.  We have the entire restarunt to ourselves and we'd be delighted if a few of you (and you cars) joined us.  June 21st is the longest day of the year, so we anticipate plenty of daylight.  Incidentally, the old Lanier High School (now Burnet Middle School) is located just a few blocks north of Top Notch off Burnet Road.  We're looking for about a dozen cars and owners to participate.  We can't pay you anything, but we might try bribing you with a meal.  If you are interested in helping us out please contact Kelly [e-mail]  or Katie at Top Notch [e-mail] .  You may also contact me, Robert Syler at [e-mail] [phone]. Hope to hear from you soon.  Thanks!

FYI, this has been altered, and likely we will not be involved.
They changed it up to meeting down the road "for a drink" and then
having folks parade through Top Notch once and leave. They didn't want the cars hanging out.
