Driving my 50 mpg VW has been nice, but I need a truck for light loads, maybe pulling a small trailer. Considering an older F100 (67-74 or so) or a Chevy 64 - 72). Something with some style, cheap, and can haul light loads. Came across this one on CL: Looks good, but not sure about the big 360. I would prefer a 302. austin.craigslist.org/cto/4276227809.html

I'll let you know if I see anything. I have a sale pending on my truck. Looking to probably get another Mustang for a daily driver and possibly a 60s F100 for our family truck.

I found one - picking it up this coming Saturday. It is a little older than what I was looking for - but a nice truck overall.

It is a solid truck overall - just needs some minor tweaking to be a dependable driver.
So far:
Replaced the 4" wide front wheels with some 15x7 - made a HUGE difference. The skinny wheels are early '60s Americans - so hopefully there is some value for resale.
Added a 1" wooden carb spacer for heat/vapor lock issue.
Replaced failed fuel pump
Put on a Holley 650 double pumper
Had to install a fuel pressure regulator and gauge (was flooding the carb under acceleration)
3 point seat belts
Next steps are:
Vintage Air
Power Steering
Tilt Column
Tie Down Hooks and Bedliner. The bed is tubbed to fit the massive 15x10 wheels and tires - and they put in a steel floor. Its nicely done - but there is no way to tie anything down, and the paint is going to get messed up right away. I am putting in stainless tie down hooks and bedlining the floor so that I can use it.
I also need some minor details such as door locks, tailgate chains, etc - should be a quick and easy project.
